Deals now go step by step

We cleared away everything around the deal and rebuilt it as a step-by-step deal system.

The deal page is now one chat, with a Next step card at the bottom that holds the buttons for that step.

Each step says who acts and by when. If a step is missed, the deal doesn’t hang: it moves on by itself. It closes, or, in a Safe Deal, paidpost Support steps in.

In a Direct deal, paidpost is the place to agree and talk. You pay each other directly, and the chat keeps a record of each step.

In a Safe Deal, paidpost is the safety umbrella over your deal. The brand pays paidpost, we check the post and pay the creator. Either of you can press Call support at any step, and paidpost Support joins the chat.

The Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Safe Deal Terms now follow the same steps. They take effect today, November 7, 2026.

• Terms of Service. In a Direct deal, the steps, deadlines and statuses are records of what each of you marked, not checks or decisions by paidpost: we don’t check payment links, payments or posts. A missed step closes the deal. A false “I paid” or faked proof of payment breaks the Terms. You can report a review to Support. Why: in a Direct deal the money never passes through paidpost, so we shouldn’t look like we vouch for it.
• Privacy Policy. We read a Direct deal’s chat only when one of you contacts Support about that deal, or when safety or the law requires it. Why: to help with a report, Support needs to see what happened.
• Both. You can disconnect an X account or delete your account once the time for reviews on your deals is over. Why: so every deal can still get its reviews.
• Safe Deal Terms. On time now means by the agreed time (before: within an hour after). Pay up to 30 minutes before it. A brand that cancels 12 hours or more ahead gets a full refund; later, the creator is asked first. If X removes the post, we review the deal instead of refunding it automatically. Reviews are usually decided within 72 hours (before: 5 business days). Creators taking Safe Deals need an X account at least 6 months old with 500+ followers (before: 90 days and 100). Why: the same clear steps and deadlines as the deal page, and no case left hanging.

From that date you’ll see a short dialog to accept the new Terms and Privacy Policy. Safe Deals paid before then keep the version they started with.
