How much to charge for a sponsored tweet
Enter your followers on X. You get a starting price for one sponsored post — the same one paidpost sets when you create your page.
$5 × followers ÷ 1,000 · whole dollars · at least $1
Free. Connect X read-only; your page starts with this price for posts and reposts, and you can change it anytime.
Why $5 per 1,000 followers
It’s a starting point, not a market average: easy to explain to a brand in one line and easy to change later. A 2,000-follower account starts at $10 a post, a 20,000-follower account at $100.
What moves your price up
Engagement
Brands pay for people who read and reply. If your posts get more replies and reposts than accounts your size, ask for more.
Niche
An audience of founders, developers or investors is harder to reach than a general one. Price that in.
Format
A thread takes longer to write than a single post, and a pinned post holds your top spot for days. Price each above a post.
Demand
If your slots fill up every week, your price is too low. Raise it and watch whether offers keep coming.
Price each format separately
On paidpost you can set a price for each of these, and leave out the ones you don’t sell: Post, Repost, Quote post, Thread, Pinned post, Long post.
Put them together and you have a rate card. See what goes on an X rate card →
