Guide · for creators and brands
A Direct deal is free, and paidpost isn’t part of the payment. We handle the booking — offer, time, chat, reviews. The brand pays the creator directly, by a payment link the creator sends in the chat.
The deal
Who moves, what each side does, and what they see on screen.
A brand opens the creator’s page, picks a free time and writes what the post should say. Then it sends an offer.
Price, time, text — they agree in the chat. Every change is a new version, so nothing changes by surprise.
The creator accepts the offer. The time is booked and the terms are locked.
paidpost doesn’t touch money. The creator makes a card payment link for the agreed price — in Stripe, PayPal or Payoneer — and sends it in the chat.
The brand pays by card through the link. The money goes straight to the creator.
At the agreed time the creator posts on X with the “Paid partnership” label on, and pastes the post link into paidpost.
The brand checks the post and marks the deal complete. If they forget, it completes by itself after 7 days.
Each side rates the other. Reviews stay hidden until both are in, so nobody just returns the favor.
The money
The brand pays the creator, and paidpost takes nothing from it.

For creators
Any of these works. Make the link right after you accept, for the exact agreed price.
Payment Links: set the amount, copy the link. The brand pays by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Send an invoice for the amount. The brand can pay by card, even without a PayPal account.
Request a payment for the amount. The brand pays by card or bank transfer.
Honestly
A Direct deal is between the brand and the creator. Here’s what that means in practice.
Your pick, per deal
Same offer, same chat, same post. The difference is who the brand pays and who steps in.
| Direct dealfree | Safe Deal7% | |
|---|---|---|
| Who the brand pays | The creator, by their payment link or as agreed in chat | paidpost: the price + 7% by card, or the price from the Advance |
| Fees | None | 7% on card payments, 7% on payouts, nothing in between |
| When the brand pays | As you agree. We recommend before the post | After the creator accepts: within 48 hours and at least an hour before the agreed time |
| When the creator gets the money | When the brand pays | Payable 48 hours after the deal completes: a payout on request, or spent on Safe Deals |
| Who checks the post | The brand | paidpost, during and at the end of the agreed period |
| If something goes wrong | The chat is your record; reviews are public | Report a problem; paidpost decides, normally within 5 business days |
| Refunds | None through paidpost | The price goes to the Advance; the 7% isn’t refunded |
| Post types | All, reposts included | All, reposts included |
| Who can use it | Everyone on paidpost | Businesses buying; creators with a 90+ day X account and 100+ followers; no 18+ |
Your pick, per deal. A Direct deal is free and paidpost isn’t part of the payment. In a Safe Deal you buy the post from paidpost, and paidpost pays the creator after the post stayed up: 7% on card payments and 7% on payouts.
Because you chose to pay each other yourselves. No cut from your money, no waiting for payouts — the brand pays the creator directly.
We recommend before: the creator accepts, sends the link, the brand pays, then the post goes live. If you agree on something else, say it in the chat so it’s on record.
Payment links often work once or expire after a while. A fresh link for the exact agreed price avoids “the link doesn’t work” and wrong amounts.
paidpost isn’t part of the payment, so we can’t refund it. The chat is your record of what you agreed, and reviews are public on every creator page.
No, 0%.
One link with your prices and free times. Brands book, you get paid directly.
